Masterclasses to take your yoga practice to the next level.
A 3 hour masterclass in a relaxed, learning atmosphere where students can grow individually and together covering the 3 practical limbs of Ashtanga — Postures, Breath and Meditation.
We begin with a short discussion on the Eight Limbs of Yoga and the broader benefits to bring context and meaning to our practice.
We will then start our pre-asana pranayama (breath practice) stoking our agni (internal fire) which charges the body with prana (life-force) and scrubs the mind calm.
We are then ready for our Asana Playground - this is the fun stuff! We start with a warm up before starting to dissect and explore postures, including standing, balancing and inversion postures to achieve strong alignment, helping to build strength and bring comfort and ease into our practice. There will be ample opportunity to practice postures that may challenge you and to work together interactively.
We will finish the Asana Playground with an energising flow and guided relaxation before taking a short break for refreshments followed by a Q&A and guided meditation.
